more advance moves/dance for Expert kit CM-5

Hi,


I want to show our Bioloid Expert Kit (the one that use the CM-5) in a upcoming local school event, for which I think that our slow, precise balance moves can be kind of boring for young kids and beside that we sadly don't have much more time  to do some cool page, poses and dances..So, I wonder if you can provide some cool poses/dances that can be use it on the Expert Kit?, the ones that came with the "Humanoid Demo" dance/presentation are see it lot of times right now...


I know that you have now other more sophisticate controllers, so may be you have around  some cool "Katas" or "Dances" that you use in some previous presentation and you don't use any more. My intention is to do my best to show all the great capabilities of the kit...

Hi Mauricio,

 

Nice to see you around again!

 

We do have a few moves, but they were made with the Premium Kit. (Type A)

Also, the files are in Korean, so you may have to work yourself around this.

 

I am attaching it just in case you may find this useful.

The file is for a Korean singer's song called Again & Again by 2PM.

 

I'm sorry we are unable to help you out much here.

Yeap glad to be back! :-)


We was pretty busy changing our bioloid brain for a new Roboard110 board, plus pressure sensors on foots, a IMU and some stereo vision capabilities :-) ...hope that in the upcoming couple of month we can show something good about all this HW..right now the problems are just SW related.. (meaning our foul :-S


About the poses, ok don't worry I think that we have to buy an upgrade kit :-)

P.S: any news on the linux front?, any plans?, we still work into provide some linux support into our software, but is hard and there is new controllers and so on..So is hard to keep us to date. If you are beginning to use .NET for your new software (with managed code libraries), it could be potentially more easy for you to provide Cross-platform software support, since the mono project is able to run most of the .NET code on linux, mac, solaris, frebsd and even on Wii, iphone, android and PS3, and it also have wrappers to work with opengl, openal, opencv and a bunch of other native libraries...I still think that a opensource approach can give a bunch of benefits to a excelent robot platform as yours..

Thank you for your suggestion! This has been tossed over to our engineers.

I will let you know once we are ready to release anything on LINUX.
