CM-510 motion names got junk characters on upgrade to Total Articles 25 RoboPlus v1.0.26.0

Hi,


I recently upgraded my Bioloid Premium CM 510 to "RoboPlus v1.0.26.0", and also upgraded the controller firmware. After the upgrade, the RoboPlus Motion, after connecting to the controller and uploading the currently loaded motion pages, shows junk characters in the blank spaces in the names. A screenshot is attached.


I have tried downloading a previously saved file, but it still shows the same problem when I upload the pages the next time. Any idea how to fix this problem?

Hi Deepak,

 

Please make sure if you selected the proper language.

Then after selecting it, re-start RoboPlus.

Been having that problem for several versions of RoboPlus on several computers (Intel and AMD processors) (Win XP, Vista, and Win7), several controllers (CM-5, CM-510, CM-530, and CM-700), and always with English language selected.  Pretty sure it is related to Unicode implementation by MS (or just the build environment used?), but it does not seem to negatively affect anything (just doesn't look very nice).
