USB2Dynamixel with AX12+

Dear Robotis

 my USB2Dynamixel in PC is COM4,when i use DynamixelManager to control AX-12+,the scaning of AX-12+ always finds nothing but there is

a AX-12 connected to it,and the wires are connected correctly.Sometimes it can scan AX-12+,but there is a "?" before ID number,in this way there is only "Network" can be used?

can you tell me what's the problem?

Make sure you have the 3 position switch on the USB2Dynamixel set to TTL.  How are you powering the AX-12,; voltage and current source?

Hi Angela,

 

Your servo seems to have a firmware problem. Please try restoring it using the Dynamixel Wizard in RoboPlus.

The Dynamixel Manager is the old version, so please use the Dynamixel Wizard to control, as this is the lastest one.
