Gyrostabilized camera platform

Sir, madam,

 

I would like to use the dynamixel to build a gyrostabilized camaraplatform. This will be a 4 axis gimbal. In the first two axis I want to counteract big movement. In axis 3 and 4 I will only counteract  3 degree, but acting at high speed. Apart from that I want the ability for pan and tilt. The gimbal will be attached to a computer and will receive directions to point to a certain GPS waypoint. This information will be updated at 10hz.

Which items do I need for this?

Here's the answer to your inquiry.

Our tech guys recommend the AX12+.

 

Here's what you would need to purchase.

 

AX12+(Depending on the DOF)

USB2Dynamixel : 1 set

SMPS : 1 set

SMPS2Dynamixel : 1 set

Please refer to the below for the specs.

If you want a higher torque spec, they recommend the RX-28.
